Das Engadin „la valle più bella del mondo“ hat überdurchschnittlich viele Sonnentage, doch im Winter suche ich die bewölkten, wo sich der Horizont auflöst. Die Schneelandschaft kann nicht vom Himmel unterscheiden werden. Als Orientierung dienen die Felsen. Man setzt sich das Bild mit diesen wenigen Informationen selber zusammen. Ich wähle mal einen grösseren, mal einen kleineren Ausschnitt einer Landschaft. Die Proportionen verschieben sich - ein Spiel mit Sehgewohnheiten -.

Engadin is „the most beautiful valley in the world” with an above average number of sunshine days (more than 300 per year). But I’m looking for the cloudy days, when the edges are diffused and the horizon dissolves. One cannot distinguish the snow landscape from the sky. The rocks serve as points of orientation. The viewer puts together the picture with these limited pieces of information. I sometimes choose a larger and at other times a smaller extract of the landscape. Il progetto “bliss” si dedica alla neve ed è stato realizzato in Engadina dove trascorro il maggior tempo della stagione invernale. Quando il cielo ha lo stesso colore come la neve, svanisce non solo l’orizzonte ma anche le proporzioni e non ci si può più orientare. Con le poche informazioni nell imagine bisogna ricostruire il paesaggio. Mentre le foto scure sono state scattate di notte sotto la luna piena.
